Hiwan Golf Club Banquet and Reception Guidelines


  • A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $500 is required to hold the date of your event


  • A final count of the number of guests must be received 14 days prior to the event date


  • The total estimated food and beverage cost of the event must be received 14 days prior to the event date


  • A Credit Card number is required to cover any additional cost subsequent to the event


  • Increases to the final guest number may be made up to 72 hours before the event. Increases of over 5% can only be accepted with the consent of the Club


  • Events are based on a four-hour time period. $200 is charged for each additional hour


  • Cancellation of this event within 30 days will result in a 10% cancellation fee based upon estimated food and beverage charges- ($500 room deposit does not apply)


  • Cancellation of this event within 72 hours of the event date will result in a 20% cancellation fee based upon estimated food and beverage charges- ($500 room deposit does not apply)


  • Excluding specialty cakes, no food or beverage items may be brought into or removed from the Clubhouse


  • Hiwan does not allow smoke machines, however, rice, rose petals or bird seed may be thrown, the clean up charge is $75.00.


  • Guests attending the event must remain in the reserved room. The rest of the Clubhouse is reserved for Hiwan members.


  • Alcoholic beverages may not be served or consumed by anyone actually or apparently under the age of 21. Alcoholic beverages will not be served to anyone who in the opinion of the club appears inebriated or has been drinking heavily.


  • Non-host bars will take cash only; credit cards and/or checks will not be accepted


  • Beverages will be limited to the specific time of service


  • No shots will be poured
